Does that School House Rock song ever pop into anyone else's head when the power goes out?

For the past few days, our house hasn't had power. I think it may have come back on yesterday for a few hours while we were at school, but quickly shut off once it realized we were home :)

So, I find myself at school on a Saturday morning. It's actually very relaxing. Listening to the birds outside my classroom, no kids running around, just having some nice quiet time. I might start doing this more often...

The main incentive for coming down here this morning was to Skype with one of my best friends from school, obviously something I couldn't do if my power's out and the Internet's off. I woke up, walked down our 90-degree incline-of-a-hill and hopped a boda to school (where the power & Internet have been working! It has been quite an answer to prayer.), which is where I am now!

I thought I might give you a little tour of our 6th grade classroom... and of the school... and of my flowers / plants / angiosperms outside of my classroom... :)
