The Friday night before we left to go on safari, we had our high school Valentine's Day banquet!
I would have completely forgotten about it, you know, with all the amazing animals and wildlife we saw :) But what a fun night! I really like getting to hang out with the high schoolers, and not just teach them...
They're neat kids, and so funny and goofy. In fact, two of the boys asked me if I could teach them how to salsa dance (we went to the only good Mexican restaurant here!)
How cute is that? Two of the 'cool' kids wanting to learn how to dance to impress their dates :) So adorable. (and I realize that if they read this, they'll be mortified!)
One of our kids also brought those nifty little light-up bracelets (a name?) and handed them out to us teachers. We then proceeded to take funny pictures being as creative as we could with them!
Another fun Valentine's Day come and gone!
